Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities
There are many professional responsibilities that an educator has within their classroom, as well as outside their classroom. Domain 4 of the Danielson Framework incorporates this wide range of responsibilities including maintaining accurate records, reflecting on teaching, communicating with families, participating in the school and district events and community, engaging in professional development, and showing outstanding professionalism. An accomplished educator who demonstrates these professional competencies are of great value to their school, colleagues, administrators, district, and parents, and represent a true professional in the field of education.

To the left are pictures from Rutgers Dance Day (Pre-College Experience) at Mason Gross School of the Arts. There were high school students that came from schools all across New Jersey, and at all levels of dance knowledge and experience. My duties included organizing and monitoring the students, observing them in their dance technique classes, take photos, and to be present to answer any questions.

Growing & Developing Professionally
Here, I attended the Rutgers University EdM Dance Education Cohort of 2018 Portfolio Showing.
Below are samples from a Professional Development workshop that I led with my cooperating teacher, Mrs. Point-Du-Jour, during my student teaching internship. It was split into two portions: the first one catered towards arts teachers (music, theater, visual arts) and the other for P.E. teachers. The purpose was to teach them how to incorporate dance and movement concepts into their curriculum in an interactive and engaging manner.
